Services
Here are some of the services that we are running on these devices which can be accessed remotely.
- Services with access only for administrators:
- SSH - Secure Shell. This opens up a command prompt on the remote system which can be used for remote administration.
- SFTP - File Transfer Protocol over Secure Shell. This uses SSH to allow for file transfers to and from the remote system.
- Services with open access, still requires VPN access except for public websites on VPS server:
- HTTP/HTTPS - Hypertext Transfer Protocol (Secure). These are the standard protocols to deliver a web page in an internet browser.
- PRTG - PRTG Monitoring service. This is the website for viewing and administration of our PRTG monitoring software on W3AEC.
- Services with login access using your callsign@delcoares.net Azure account and VPN access:
- RDP - Microsoft's Remote Desktop Protocol. This is a protocol from Microsoft used to access a Windows computer remotely.
